Starting to move your body is one of the best decisions in your life. Yet it can QUICKLY become “too much of a good thing”: too much of the good stress-relieving exercise becomes stress itself to your body and messes up your whole system! Overtraining / Over-Exercising is a highly underestimated issue, especially among exercise beginners who fall in love with working out and quickly into overeagerness, and even more especially among newbies to the high carb low fat vegan lifestyle since they tend to feel so energetic they easily can’t distinguish between their energy & their body’s ability. I was such a one. I burned myself out, my adrenals, got adrenal fatigue, by overdoing on the intensity, volume AND frequency level – but without even noticing it – not even when symptoms started to occur. My symptoms had to become so severe that I took it serious enough that it was already too late when I applied the emergency brake… please watch if you have already run into issues you can’t identify… you may save yourself from severe burnout. And weight gain, because in an overtrained state, your metabolism gets damaged and your body reacts like in a starvation time: by storing fat in order to survive. Can’t believe it? I couldn’t either… until it happened to me – or rather until I did it to me.
